Parking Sense is excited to showcase our recently released, scheduler function. This automated functionality helps manage usage and demand for ‘special’ space types in your facility. The feature allows you to change specific spaces from one type to another on a pre-set basis.
For example, a building that wants to encourage ride sharing may have ‘purple’ priority spaces available for ride sharing vehicles, however if these have not been occupied by the time commuter traffic traditionally fades off, they revert to ‘green’ standard available spaces.
These can be changed once set-up, although the ideal is they are configured based on business rules. For example, one garage has an allocated area for staff parking but if it reaches 10am during the working week and the space has not been occupied, they switch to ‘green’ standard spaces for customers to use.
